Honoring the Ancestors of the Ancient Americas Conference ~ August 11-13
Presenting the lineage teachings of Cherokee, Mohawk, Tongva, MicMac and other Tribal Grandmothers and Grandfathers, in combination with the professional expertise of well known and respected Archaeologists – many of whom have appeared on the History Channel – to provide an opportunity for the People of the Past to share their stories “From the Dust”.
Seven Generations World Wisdom Gathering
The Seven Generations World Wisdom Council has worked with Elders and Presenters around the world, presenting World Wisdom Gatherings in Europe, Asia, Africa and America.
August 11-21 2016 Elders and Healers from all over the world will come together. We will gather on the banks of the Mississippi River to share in Ceremonies, Workshops, Talking Circles and Panel Discussions with Wisdom Keepers indigenous to Mother Earth.
Registration for this event, including the Honoring the Ancestors of the Ancient Americas Conference, is just $100 to cover the cost of housing and feeding the Elder Wisdom Keepers who will be presenting both Traditional and Scientific perspectives and values. Indigenous Elders will be coming to share their knowledge, wisdom and Ceremonies from Africa, Europe, Australia, Indonesia and the Americas. Other participants will pay for food and lodging, as well as registration. Please contact us below to receive information about accommodations and food tickets.
Dance to Heal the Earth
August 19-21 2016 Grandmother Robin Youngblood and Grandfather Bert Gunn with the All Nations Singers will facilitate “Dance to Heal the Earth” on the east bank of the Mississippi River. This profound ceremony will assist both Dancers and Supporters to deepen their connection to Mother Earth and All Our Relations through prayers of gratitude and service. This is a two day fasting dance.
All are invited to dance in ceremony and prayer for two days to Heal the Waters, Land, Animals and People of the Mississippi Watershed.
Please contact the River Sidon Peace and Justice Project for registration and protocols at least as soon as possible. You will find a registration form under the Events section. Please fill it out and submit soon, as space is limited and we need a head count for meals. We will respond to your registration within four days.
Some of you won’t be able to join us, but you can still be with us in Spirit by supporting an Elder. Our Wisdom Keepers are traveling from all over the world at their own expense. They are coming to share teachings and ceremonies that will enable us to move with Love through these difficult times. We need your donations to pay for their lodging and meals throughout the event. We would like to honor you in return with a remembrance from the gathering. Please see our fundraiser page to donate and receive your gift.
